| MISSION STATEMENT (BRIEFING) | ||
|
The World Student Union is the College's International Club established basically to meet the needs of all the international students. It is set up to help ease the expected transition most of these students experience during their short stay here in a variety of ways. Through the help of the Host Family Program, the Club has been able to introduce our members to the outside community, find ways for them to meet new peopleand basically interact with others in our efforts to make their stay an excellent, peaceful, and memorable one. Besides the emotional and academic support that we provide, we also emphasize sharing aspects of our culture to the Student Body. With our annual Cultural Show, usually performed around mid-November, we are able to meet this criteria along with other projects (i.e. retreats and tours). Our existence and survival depends largely on the aforementioned facts. WE WELCOME OTHER PARK COLLEGE STUDENTS TO GET INVOLVED IN WSU. You're support and participation is greatly appreciated so COME ONE, COME ALL to the WSU Meetings!!!
